That’s a terrific device. I have a small mobility scooter, but yours would be so much more convenient. I transport mine in the back of my pickup.

Very impressive design and well conceived. For a niche market of users this would be a fantastic solution. Why not put a DPDT revering polarity switch to obtain reverse? Congrats on elegant functional design.

Really impressive, well done! Suits a niche market, and looks easy to assemble, and fun to use. Good luck with it.

The TravelScoot is so lightweight that no reverse gear is needed. Just put your feet on the ground and walk the travelscoot backwards like a bicycle.

I see this so often and it is incredibly dangerous. Someone will be killed.

There also seems to be little info available (for my part of the world) that gives specific rules as to where they can be used.

@1puglife You’re not worth it. I’m sure your parents have told you that once or 50 times.

@anwblah22 ok man well if you had a clue you would know it was a joke like if you had a sense of humor you might get that. what i would suggest for you is watch one video and think you know all man just like everyone else. this one is different though because you actually think we are so concerned about this crazy old lady terrorizing the neighborhood. yer the goof that beaks off like a stooge so i think you need to get a life me friend

@NatalieDance18 Can’t believe someone who works for a mobility company is encouraging this type of behaviour. Idiot.

    @NatalieDance18

That’s what sidewalks are for, idiot.
And there was clearly plenty of sidewalk for that selfish bitch to ride on.
I hope the dumb bitch gets hit by a car.
If she survives, maybe she’s learn that roads are for CARS.

First off, it’s “certainly”, not “sertinly”. Second, some states allow people to ride their scooters in the street like she is doing – have you done any research to make sure your vigilante video here even has a point? Try being disabled and just wanting your freedom back. I bet if you were in her position and needed the scooter to get around you would be thinking differently. As a person who works for a mobility company I hear from these types of people day in and day out.

LoL sad to say, but if she continues to drive like that. One day she is going to get run the fuck over by someone not paying attention. blobby1972 Your stubbornness is going to get you killed or paint balled by those irritated drivers. You oughta watch it there buddy when your rolling down the road from now on..

    Dear Chris,
Thanks for posting this vt., it shows very well how dull the view of the rider looks from the rear.

If she had some lights on the back, it would stand out a lot by comparison; mostly visible at 0:45 when that gray automobile, whose rear lights come on, passes the scooter.

    Cheers.

@TheBMXlee I’m not fat I was born with spina biffida so my legs are paralized so No I can’t walk . as I write this I know full well you will come back with some hurtfull bile but you better be good because I’ve heard them all .but your write about one thing my opinion does’nt count that why my comment was only light harted humor.unlike you who likes to hide infront of his keyboard insulting strangers because nobody like you so your angry with the world.

    04. Sep, 2010

Judging by your user name… you are about 38 years old.

So, that means if you do use a mobility scooter, your not so old you can’t walk. Your fat.

And this means your opinion doesn’t count for shit.

Somebody needs to give her a bump on the road. She should be on the sidewalk. This is crazy and she’s slowing down traffic.

  28. blobby1972

    04. Sep, 2010
